Tract: The Truth Will Save Us Now

My tract was playing with the idea, that cigarettes are good and not just for smoking. My tract show the unusual uses I put a pack a cigarettes.

A Day In A Life (2011)

Los Angeles is a huge city; about 3,792,621 people live in this city. I feel everyone who lives here has moved here searching for the California dream and I feel each person has a story to tell of why there here in Los Angeles. A Day In the Life is about a designer from Florida, who I thought was interesting after hearing his story. He moved to Los Angeles four years ago, his ambition and drive made him want to follow his dream and move here.

The Silkscreen

Ever since humanity we as people of Earth have been looking at the sky, some for answer, or its majestic beauty, or even for its randomness. I feel we sometimes overlook its beauty because of the distraction of modern advances. As humans we all see things in the sky, eventually you will look up at the sky and depending on you're surrounding you will see different things in the sky.

Your final project is due December 14th by 12:30pm. This project is weighted more in terms of your grade; produce accordingly - the size and presentation of your images should be appropriate to your project. This is the time to spend a bit more on printing/production. You will be graded on your commitment to the project as shown through:

1. quality of the production (color-correction, lighting, print, presentation, craft etc.)

2. experimentation as shown through quantity of test shots and overall interest/innovation

Due Next Week (30th) All images plus model of project

Project options:

1. stop-motion: 15 second rough draft, bring intended audio but not need to be sequenced yet

2. book: all images in sequence (can view on screen but must include printed thumbnails in sequence)

Plus mock-up of book structure so we can see folds/binding/size

3. installation: all images with model that shows exact structure of installation

4. half of your images printed if you are doing it in the darkroom

Due 7th of December: complete draft of project

Project options:

1. stop-motion: 30 second rough draft with audio

2. book: full rough draft of book with all content in color

3. installation: installation executed - bring images, work on documentation in class

4. BW: all images printed
